Troubleshoot the Source Environment#

Package Not Found#

Activate the Isaac ROS environment, rebuild the required package and its source dependencies, then source ${ISAAC_ROS_WS}/install/setup.bash in each terminal. Check ros2 pkg prefix isaac_ros_manipulation_bringup and verify that it resolves to your source workspace. See Use a Source Workspace.

Source Dependency Missing#

Check that the dependency repository is present under ${ISAAC_ROS_WS}/src and that its packages appear in colcon list. Resolve system dependencies using rosdep --ignore-src before rebuilding. Use the repository versions required by the DisplayPort tutorial and the Flexiv driver setup.

Model Files Missing#

Source builds disable automatic asset installation. Complete the targeted FoundationPose and SAM preparation in Install Packages and Perception Models and verify the paths in your DisplayPort configuration. Export SAM on x86 and copy the complete Triton model directory to the deployment machine.

Robot or Simulator Topics Missing#

Follow the DisplayPort setup checks. Check the middleware settings and domain ID in each terminal. For the physical robot, start the Zenoh router and verify remote mode and network connectivity. For Isaac Sim, verify the scene is playing and its ROS bridge is running.
